I have had anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and depression since I was 14, and I am finally telling people about now - I am 25. The past 10 or so years have been so hard but have taught me so much. I take medication now, which has helped me immensely, but some days I still cry, I still have panic attacks, and I still battle. I like to think I'm getting better, other days not so much. I find the more people I tell, the more support I gain. So I guess my advice for others is don't be afraid to tell people, especially loved ones. They will accept you. And the whole "if they judge you, they're not worth being in your life" thing isn't true, if at first they judge, give them time, they're working through the information and they WILL come around. Don't give up.
Finally, shout out to one of my best friends ALEX KLINE! Who told me all about you and Listen, Lucy. <3 #TheAcceptanceMovement
